We spent the first night of our trip in Independence, Missouri after a long day of driving in the rain. Many thanks to Austyn for doing the majority of the driving through gray cities and the crowded mind-numbing highways of St. Louis and Kansas City.The next evening was spent in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The skies finally cleared and we were able to take a walk through the falls area just a few blocks from our hotel. It was the first real respite from the road.
We also enjoyed the street art and the local beer pub, JL Beers.
