Moving is stressful. Leaving a city that you have come to love over the years is stressful. Leaving friends who have supported you and your kids over the years is stressful. Having those friends visit you in your new city is a wonderful way to reduce the stress. Our first visitors were Kathy and Dana. They both made the appropriate comments (we miss you, love the new house,
love the location to shopping) when they visited. Kathy is the first one to have a celebratory beverage in our new home and brought us a house warming gift which is proudly hanging on our front door. We also joined Kathy and her parents for dinner soon after we moved in. I had a great visit with Dana which included lunch at the Cheddar Box. We also joined Kathy and David for lunch at BBC while they were up here one weekend for Kyle's soccer game.
If anyone else from Bowling Green wishes to find us this fall, just look for the door with the bright orange pumpkin cutout and the big 'G' in the center.
